Terms of Service

Bee Tracker is a subscription based web application, installable as a progressive web app, that helps beekeepers manage hives, inspections, operations, harvests, tasks and seasonal schedules. It is a record keeping and planning tool. It does not provide veterinary, agronomic or legal advice, and decisions about your colonies remain yours.

Bee Tracker is built and operated by Marvix, a product design and development studio.

By creating an account or using Bee Tracker you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You need an account to use Bee Tracker. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. When you register you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us as soon as possible if you believe someone else has gained access to it.

New accounts include a 14 day free trial with full access to the app. No payment is taken during the trial and you can stop at any time.

When the trial ends you need an active subscription to keep using Bee Tracker. Without one your account moves to a read only state, your data stays intact for the retention period described in our Privacy Policy, and full access returns as soon as you subscribe.

Subscriptions are billed yearly and priced by the number of hives you manage: Basic for 1 to 50 hives, Advanced for 51 to 100 hives and Professional for 101 to 200 hives. Every tier includes the same features. Current prices are shown on our pricing page.

If your apiary grows beyond the limit of your tier you will be asked to move to the tier that matches your hive count. We may change prices, and we will give you reasonable notice before a change applies to your next renewal.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each yearly term unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and we do not store your full card details.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments for a period already started are not refunded.

Use Bee Tracker lawfully and reasonably. Do not attempt to break into other accounts, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, resell access, reverse engineer it, or upload malicious code or content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.

Accounts are for one beekeeping operation. Sharing a single account across unrelated operations to avoid paying for the right tier is not permitted.

Your records belong to you. Hive data, inspection notes, treatments, harvest figures, photographs and any other content you enter remain your property. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not sell them.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you, including backups and technical support. You can export or request a copy of your records at any time.

We work to keep Bee Tracker available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, third party outages and events outside our control can cause downtime.

The app evolves. We may add, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces what a paid subscription offers, we will let you know in advance.

Bee Tracker is provided on an as is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost colonies, lost harvests or loss of data beyond our control.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Keep your own copies of records that are critical to you.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, creates a security or legal risk, or has been unpaid for an extended period, normally after notice where that is practical.

After termination we delete or anonymise your data in line with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
